Only two, though. It's a pretty small tent.

"Would I-" Bridge starts to say, but trails off as he notices Xander opening one eye. "Hi. How nice of you to join me." He says with a smile, instead.

"Well, most of me," Xander says, nodding but still not opening his other eye.

"Mmm," Bridge says, thoughtful expression on his face. "So what do I have to do to convince the rest of you to join me in morning-time too?"

"Hmm." Xander thinks for a moment, then makes a nonverbal but very clear suggestion.

"I think that can be arranged."

Whaddya know, Xander's other eye pops open. "Huh. It works."

"Good morning," Bridge laughs.

"Yep," Xander admits. "Contradiction in terms though that may appear to be."

"And even if it *is* morning, it's Monday morning, so it's not like there's anywhere either of us needs to be," Bridge points out. He then narrows his eyes. "Unless you've made plans..." he adds, mock-suspiciously.

"Well..." Xander's voice sounds a little sheepish. "now that you mention it..."

Bridge raises an eyebrow. "Yeeees?"

"Well I thought I might," Xander looks left and right - which would equal 'tent wall and other tent wall' as if somebody might overhear him, then whispers something in Bridge's ear.

And the other eyebrow goes up.

"Really?"

Xander leans back on his elbows. "If... you want?"

Bridge grins. "I do," he says. "You just took me by surprise, there."

"Well, I thought... it does seem to be the weekend for making sure we'll get completely blasted the next time we play I Never, right?" Xander shrugs. "And it's not like there's any reason it's an I Never aside from..." He coughs and glances down. "I kind of like the other way around."

"I kind of noticed that, yeah." Bridge says.

"Is that bad?" Xander asks. "I mean not bad 'cause I'm pretty sure I'd notice if you weren't having fun, but you know. Too something? Or not enough something? And I'm just gonna shut up here because we really don't need to see me demonstrate my fluency in Flail this early in the morning."

"It's not- I... kind of like the other way around, myself." Bridge admits. "But that doesn't mean I wouldn't want to try... the other thing."

"You know someday when we're ninety we'll be able to handle nouns and verbs and stuff," Xander says, grinning.

"But today is not that day, apparently."

"No," Xander agrees. "But that's not gonna stop today from being the day we do the non-verby other thing, right?"

"No, no it is not." Bridge says firmly.

"Good, 'cause I really didn't have a Plan B."

"So... is Plan A happening *here*, or are we waiting till we get back to the dorms?" Bridge asks.

"Well, there is the whole door-with-lock issue, but going back to the dorms involves a) moving, and b) waiting," Xander points out.

"And we're far enough away from the main stretch of beach that I reeeeally don't think being interrupted is an issue." Bridge adds. "So that would seem to tip the scales in favour of here."

"Yeah." Xander moves closer, which really only involves a couple of centimeters, and grins down at him. "Happy Anniversary."
