Sunnydale, The Espresso Pump, Tuesday Afternoon, Sept. 12th, 2000

Subject: Hey

Meant to e-mail you as soon as I got here, but then things got weird. Which you've probably figured out one way or another, whether you got the e-mails I already sent out or not. Guess this goes on the pile of Sending This Anyways. Pretty sure nobody's getting them, but I might as well act like you are; beats the alternative.

Anyhow, just wanted to let you know I do remember. That you weren't always here, I mean. I guess being in another dimension kept me out of the spell, and it didn't kick in once I got here.

I haven't said anything - just hope nothing comes up where I'm *supposed* to know something happened one way when it really happened another. They almost got me already because Buffy remembers me writing her about you. She's even got copies of the e-mails. I *didn't*, though; I thought the idea of a sister she doesn't have might freak her out. I think she wrote it off as me just being distracted because I can't contact you guys, but it was a close one. Wish we'd had more time to talk about how things were different in your Sunnydale and mine. I know you didn't want to tell me much about the future, but knowing about the *past* would sure help right now.

Speaking of the future, I talked to your mom yesterday. My your-mom. The you-here's your mom. You know what I mean. She's been having headaches. I don't know if that's what happened to your your-mom, but I told her she should get them checked out. I may've also told her she should *really* get them checked out because I had inside information from the future - so I'll write again and let you know how she is, or if the world explodes because we cheated.

Well, okay, no, if the world explodes I probably won't. So be on the lookout for one with good news, instead.

P.S. Little you called me her favorite college-guy. I'm pretty sure that was a compliment even though I'm kind of the only college-guy she knows. She's kind of adorkable, I'mjustsayin. I should probably have felt guilty that I was blowing off my algebra homework at the time, huh.

[...and time, she actually starts speeding up, yis.]
