Xander was sort of just sitting in bed checking e-mail, as you do, since somebody else wasn't awake and despite the ice cream-and-leftover-birthday-cake remedy he'd brought back last night, somebody else was in theory still sleeping off a headache.

See my shiny new UC Sunnydale e-mail account? You too will have one as soon as you send me your paperwork; I can get a distance waiver so you don't actually have to show up in person for freshman registration.
The Hogwarts address won't work anymore; I was pretty much the only one who even had a computer there, so after I finished school, they let it run for the summer but now it's closed down. Yes, this means I'm home again. Please don't ask why I came home early. At my parents' house right now, but that's just until the dorms open up.
So the dead e-mail addressPlease don't ask why I came home early. is the reason I don't have your course registration stuff yet, right? Because you totally sent it already, yep. *nods knowingly*
Other SDHS kids besides Buffy and me are starting to trickle back into town for college too. Weand by we I mean me because Buffy was too busy letting Spike stick his tongue down her throat in that shadowy spot behind the stairs again saw Harmony in the Bronze last night, and Xand, if you were still worried about getting into UC Sunnydale, I believe the phrase the youngsters are using is "bitch, plz" for *Harmony Kendall* is matriculating there this fall, and I don't think she even knows how to *spell* matriculate. She said Larry's home too - something about his other football scholarship falling through because of the extra year of high school. He's not very happy about it, I gather, but hey, playing for Sunnydale's's crappy team or early career-derailment by giant snake... hmmm.
And speaking of people being here who weren't before, except she was, she just wasn't *people* before, except back when she was people before she wasn't, Amy says hi! (...she also still says 'Do you have any Rocquefort' a lot, but I'm trying to help her work through those issues.) In people-words! I made her not be a rat! Go me!
Despite what Some People Who Shall Remain Nameless had to say on the subject of me doing that spell by myself and how I got the power to pull it off. Honestly, I only borrowed a *teeny tiny bit* from all the wizards in London. Not even enough for anybody to *notice* unless you happened to be in the same house when I thought you were out shopping...
Well, go me plus that dimension having the right kind of magic; we tested it here just to see if I could turn her back if it ever happened again, and that spell just sits there and goes foozle. :-\Possibly due to the slightly lower concentration of other magic-users around here, but it's hard to tell.
But now I have a magic-study-buddy again, which is good, because...the other thing...is a thing that is over. She We decided we're better off as somewhat surly and resentful on my part friends who currently aren't speaking to each other because she doesn't trust me - *me*, WTF - even if that's not the way she *said* it we both really want to concentrate on academics when we start university, and a loooooooong-distance thing like that would be too distracting. Don't ask. No, *seriously*, don't ask. So mote it be. Distracticus.
Also, am I allowed to mention the D-person to Buffy? She was asking if I was helping pick *your* classespokimus maximus, which isn't a formal spell but I'm thinking really hard about it and tapping the computer with my wand which seems to work pretty well too since I was going over hers with her, and I just said one of the new students there was looking at them with you. You were pretty sneaky about it in that e-mail you sent to Buffy and me together, but you've mentioned her a bunch of times since then, so...
And speaking of letter-people, hi to the B-word-person!Who I am not jealous and sulky about you still having at all, because I am more mature than that. Mostly. The Bridge-person, I mean, not just any random B-people. Except now that sounds all discriminatory, so if you feel like saying hi to other B-people for me even though they have no idea who I am, go for it! I'm all for being friendly to random strangers as long as it doesn't involve getting in cars with them or accepting candy without testing it for drugs or razorblades first, unless they work in a candy store in which case the testing is optional, though never a bad idea.
Hi, I may have just come from meeting Buffy at the Espresso Pump where I convinced the owner that she needs to put in wireless becauseit's convenient for me it'll attract more college students and I may have had a mocha or three. She says hi. Buffy, not the owner of the Espresso Pump. I say hi too. Again. Hi!
love,
Willow
*blinkblink* Xander hit reply and was about to open with asking if she was okay with the thing with the thing no longer being a thing, given other things with things and how they were no longer things, and other people's similar things with things, but then for some reason he became very interested in the fact that Bridge seemed to have a new freckle on his left wrist just below the edge of his glove, and by the time he started typing, he'd forgotten completely about whatever he was going to ask. Huh.

YES I HAVE MY REGISTRATION FORMS FILLED OUT THEY ARE ATTACHED STOP FRETTING IT GIVES YOU WORRY-LINES.
I felt I should let you know that right away and not make you scroll to the bottom to see the attachment, because I'm just that nice of a guy. Despite our apparently differing definitions of "take your time."
I also told other-you about it in my workshop last week; shewas all mopey about not being in college anymore made noises not unlike unto those that Amy doesn't make anymore. And hey, you de-ratted her without me getting to test my mad Rat language skillz on her - unfair! ...not that I'm not glad she's back, hi Amy. Just saying.
The D-person (....yeah, I think we should keep mum on who she *is* to Buffy. HI BUFFY DO NOT READ THIS. Dunno why telling her there's another *Buffy* here seems ok but telling her there's a universe where she has a little sister would be the straw that breaks the camel's brain, but... yeah.) did help me pick out some classes, and some I picked on my own, almost like a mature adult or something. Speaking of little sisters, mine (the Big Sibling Program-kind, not the alternate universe kind) left school, and so did Bridge's best friend, but they both came back, yay.
We had a career fair last Friday, and I got to meet Bridge's boss; that was... an experience. Which was in no way intimidating. Bridge says he approves of me though, which is good because a) Bridge's boss, and b) he's a giant dog from space. Who apparently growls when he *doesn't* approve of somebody.
We're back from the cabins now, BTW, so no more outdoor movie nights, I guess, but I can't say rooms with doors instead of alcoves with curtains is a bad trade. Still doing workshops, though, and *mine* is going fine, but sometimes I wonder about Bridge's.
I also worry about the food around here. Possibly it's my punishment for eating chocolate chip cookies not made by some version of you, but things got weird on Saturday. There was singing again. Actually there was weirdness on Sunday too, come to think of it, but minus the singing and plus Bridge having to rescue a princess. And one of my Scoobying kids from last session was acting kind of wacky on Wednesday. Not that any of this is unusual for this place, it just seems to be kind of super-concentrated this week.
But I've got a dinner date tonight, which I almost made on the phone but got kept on hold so long I forgot what I wanted to ask. Did I mention worrying about Bridge's workshops sometimes? And sometimes I just worry about Bridge; he found out some weird stuff about his family this week, and, well, you met him. It takes a lot to de-bounce him. But it's bothering him, and I kinda hate that 'cause there's nothing I can do to help except be there, y'know?
I'll say hi to theL B-word person for you when he wakes up; he had a headache last night and missed Veronica's party, so I'm watching him sleep letting him get all the sleep he can before his morning class.
And since *I* have not had more caffeine than a human of my bodyweight should consume in one sittingyet, I might just go back to sleep myself.
love,
Xander
P.S. There was something else I was supposed to put in here - what the heck was it? Oh well, it'll come to me.
