Xander's already ~~handwavily~~ sent out e-mails letting people know his new cellphone number if they didn't have it already, and his UC Sunnydale e-mail address, and... when he's leaving. Which he finally has to say 'tomorrow morning' about instead of 'Friday' because they're one and the same.

Now... he's still packing. Posters, folders, last-minute items and just stuff he wanted to leave up for as long as possible to make the room acknowledge that for now, he still lives here. Every so often he and Bridge are taking a break to look at pictures or watch a dvd, because at this point he's on the flipside of where he was yesterday: if he packs too fast, the room'll be empty, and Xander can't quite take that, not yet.

You can't really say Jeremiah's taking a break; he'd have to have been working in the first place for that to be true. He's just going back and forth between supervising the packing and supervising the loafing.

The door is open. Xander's yearbook is on the desk next to Jeremiah, for anyone who feels like signing it.

"Tempting. Very tempting," Xander says. "Does it have a bathroom?"

"I could construct one," John says thoughtfully. "I did take shop."

"Huh, yeah, I could help with that, as long as you passd me the tools from outside."

"Running the plumbing might be the hardest part," John babbles. "You really have to go?"

"While I'm hiding in the closet? At some point, yes. Thus the need for plumbing."

John laughs and thrusts the box of Twinkies towards Xander. "For the trip. Comfort food. Pig out food. Senior food. You deserve it food."

"Dude. Thanks," Xander says, taking the box. Then he laughs. "I'm not sure what's funnier - that the trip's only gonna take about 30 seconds, or that I could probably eat all these before it's over if I try really hard."

He makes a bit of a sickly face. "Though I probably shouldn't. There was a Gatorade incident."

"I'd totally hold your hand again," John says. "And not in a Bridge like way. In a way 'you kick ass, seriously' way."

"I'd totally get hit in the head with boots again for you," Xander returned. "We made a good team."

"Damn good team," John says with a smirk. "I'm glad you found someone to make you happy too. Very deserved. For both of you."

That one hurts, at the same time as it makes him smile. He can feel his teeth shining too brightly, or something. "Thanks." He tries not to smile quite so hard. "Hang on to Aeryn, dude. She's pretty amazing."

"I plan on it," John says with a nod. "You take care, okay? Do good things, make people smile, all right?"

"You too, man. Except try not to get so crazy ont he radio that they actually cart you away. People would miss you."
