Thursday, Room 121, all day (general goodbye post)

Xander's already handwavily sent out e-mails letting people know his new cellphone number if they didn't have it already, and his UC Sunnydale e-mail address, and... when he's leaving. Which he finally has to say 'tomorrow morning' about instead of 'Friday' because they're one and the same.

Now... he's still packing. Posters, folders, last-minute items and just stuff he wanted to leave up for as long as possible to make the room acknowledge that for now, he still lives here. Every so often he and Bridge are taking a break to look at pictures or watch a dvd, because at this point he's on the flipside of where he was yesterday: if he packs too fast, the room'll be empty, and Xander can't quite take that, not yet.

You can't really say Jeremiah's taking a break; he'd have to have been working in the first place for that to be true. He's just going back and forth between supervising the packing and supervising the loafing.

The door is open. Xander's yearbook is on the desk next to Jeremiah, for anyone who feels like signing it.

Anders stopped by after saying goodbye to Chloe and looking a lot more reluctant about this visit considering it carried certain BFF-in-law weight that . . . yeah, made him tear up.

Nadia headed down to Xander's room almost first thing and knocked quietly.

If she wasn't careful, she'd get way to good at this whole saying goodbye thing.

Dawn stood in the doorway for a while, just watching. She knew Xander had to go and do important life and world-saving type stuff, but she wasn't at all happy about it.

The first thing Xander might notice would be a flying ball of fluff that flung itself into his room.

Then there was the obligatory call of, "VLADDIE! Get back here!"

And then there was a Rory in Xander's doorway, holding a small turtle. "Hi. We were all supposed to enter together but Vladdie got excited."

Said puppy was now hovering midair, his leash dangling.

Krycek went by Xander's in the afternoon, not too long after he'd settled back into his own room and knocked lightly on the doorframe to get his attention, smirking. "You're welcome."

Parker so wishes she didn't have to do this. But it's Xander, so ditching is not an option. "Hey." She knocked on the doorframe. "Need any help?"

D dawdled for as long as she could after (http://chloe-sullivan.livejournal.com/12070.html?thread=152870#t152870) saying good-bye to Chloe which totally isn't done yet before facing up to the worst good-bye yet.

So, she found herself standing outside Xander's door, frakking huge gift-bag (http://pics.livejournal.com/dbiers/pic/0001ba1k) in hand. No, those totally weren't tissues hidden in her back pocket. Really. They're... ummmm, ok, tissues.

She hesitated for a moment or two, then she took a deep breath and knocked on the door frame.
