soldtoarmenians | Thursday, Room 121, all day (general goodbye post)

Xander's already ~~handwavily~~ sent out e-mails letting people know his new cellphone number if they didn't have it already, and his UC Sunnydale e-mail address, and... when he's leaving. Which he finally has to say 'tomorrow morning' about instead of 'Friday' because they're one and the same.

Now... he's still packing. Posters, folders, last-minute items and just stuff he wanted to leave up for as long as possible to make the room acknowledge that for now, he still lives here. Every so often he and Bridge are taking a break to look at pictures or watch a dvd, because at this point he's on the flipside of where he was yesterday: if he packs too fast, the room'll be empty, and Xander can't quite take that, not yet.

You can't really say Jeremiah's taking a break; he'd have to have been working in the first place for that to be true. He's just going back and forth between supervising the packing and supervising the loafing.

The door is open. Xander's yearbook is on the desk next to Jeremiah, for anyone who feels like signing it.

"Could be," Xander answered. "Or it could be the part where you just give me a hug because boy could I use a couple hundred of those today."

"That works," she said, wrapping her arms around him and holding on tightly. "I'm going to miss you."

"Same here." Xander didn't show signs of letting go any time soon. "You'll always be the best roomie ever, trust me."

Xander hugs were always comforting. And since this one was going to have to last till Homecoming, Isabel could probably be forgiven for holding on a little longer. "What? You don't think UC Sunnydale's going to assign you a pretty blonde for a roommate?" she asked. She sniffled softly. Allergies of course.

"At least not the kind with an e on the end, I'm pretty sure," Xander said, grinning slightly.

"You'll still do fine," she said, stepping back. "Best roomie ever, right?"

"Hey, that's you, not me." He snickered. "But I'll try to follow your example ~~and fail miserably ohyeah~~.

'It's mutual," Isabel smiled. "I couldn't have asked for a better roommate. So I'm sure you'll do fine no matter who you're living with."

"As long as they like frogs, I think I'll be fine," Xander said, glancing at Jeremiah.

"Who couldn't love the wee purple guy?" she asked. "He's unique."

"Gotta admit that if even Willow puts up with him, the dude has his charms."

"You've got charms of your own. Don't worry," she smiled.
