Room 121, Monday Night

Several hours after Willow filled the room with cookie-smelly goodness, the room... still smells like cookie-smelly goodness. Funny about that. It's probably the fact that somewhere in the room there is cookie-smelly goodness.

"...No," Bridge admits, a little sheepishly.

"Never hurts to check," Xander tells him, stepping aside to let him in.

"True," Bridge says with a nod as he enters the room. "Heeeeey, it totally smells like cookies in here."

"It does?" Xander sniffs the air, then gives a wave to Turtle and shuts the door. "Funny. I can't smell anything."

Bridge narrows his eyes at Xander. "Tease," he mutters.

"Moi?" Xander says, standing ever so subtly in front of the plastic tupperwarey containers on the counter so Bridge can in no way see that they contain cookies.

"You." Bridge says firmly, moving a bit closer.

"I think you must've mistaken me for someone else," Xander says, moving to block the cookies a little less crappily. "I would never think of denying anybody sweet cookie goodness, if there were such goodness to be had."

"I could've been thinking of your evil twin, I suppose," Bridge admits. "But somehow, I think... not." And he's closed the rest of the distance between them.

"Ah, now see, my evil twin would totally hide cookies from you," Xander tells him, swinging one of the containers around in front of him as if to ward off an attack. "But clearly I'm not him."

"Oh, clearly." Bridge says. "But still. You said there weren't cookies when there actually were. While not evil, that's still pretty devious," he points out.

"I didn't actually say there weren't," Xander corrects him, opening the container and letting a whiff of the real stuff out into the air. "I said I couldn't smell anything. which, okay, was a total lie, but..." Xander pauses. "I'm not defending myself well against this 'tease' accusation, am I."

Bridge doesn't say anything, just looks serious and shakes his head.

"Cookie?" Xander tries for innocent and continues to miss by a mile.

"I'm thinking it might take more than that," Bridge says. "Good start, though," he allows.

"Secret inside info on tomorrow's Scoobying workshop?" Xander offers.

Bridge sighs a very put-upon sigh. "...Yeah, now I think you're actually being *more* of a tease."

"Tawdry, lurid boykissy?"

"You're getting closer."

Xander takes that literally. Granted he's still holding an open box of more or less fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies, so there's that between him and really close. "What, you want more than tawdry lurid boykissy?"

"If by more you mean something that would actually involve *less* clothes? Then yes," Bridge nods. And takes a cookie.

"We could totally still be tawdry and lurid with less clothes," Xander points out, taking a cookie himself.

"And yet you're still wearing them." Bridge points out in between cookie bites.

"You have a point," Xander says, setting down the box and losing... one of his socks. "Better?"

"Do you need me to provide a demonstration?"

"....Was that a serious question?"

"You took off *one sock*!" Bridge says, maybe a little plaintively.

Xander takes off the other. And then his shirt. "Better?"

"Pants." Bridge says, pointing. And then moves to make the garment in question no longer an issue.

Xander says, stupidly and to no one in particular," I should probably put the cookies down."

Don't ask how he got his shirt off without putting the cookies down. Just accept that it was probably entertaining to the only person who got to witness it.
