"Cause... you're not?" Bridge says, cracking one eye open. "'Less you've suddenly developed the ability to project forcefields and an unhealthy attachment to the SPD Handbook while I wasn't looking?"

"Nope and probably not 'cause I tried reading yours and my eyes crossed about the time I got to the part about how playing Go Fish with the capture cards constitutes cruel and unusual punishment." Xander pokes his shoulder. "But that hasn't stopped you from calling me Sky before when you're half asleep."

"Well that was because he used to be the only person who'd harass me till I woke up. Now I have a you." The fact that Bridge is attempting to sound put-out by the whole "omg you woke me up!" thing is probably somewhat unsuccessful due to the kind of goofy grin he's wearing.

"And my owner's manual's a lot easier to read than the SPD one. 'Feed when hungry. Supply with bad sci-fi and good comedy. Do not fold, spindle or mutilate if you don't want to void the warranty.' "

"Mmmhmm," Bridge nods, moving a little closer to Xander. Which may seem counterproductive given the fact that in theory waking up involved actually *leaving* the bed at some point, but Bridge... doesn't really care. "Actually, I was thinking..."

"Dork," Bridge pokes Xander on the shoulder. "You wanna hear my idea or not?"

"Yes," Xander says seriously. "I always want to hear your idea. Even when it involves Silly Putty. I may say no to the Silly Putty based on past experience, but I always want to hear it."

"And that would be one of the many reasons why I love you," Bridge says. "But yes. What do you think about camping this weekend?"

"...near trees?" Xander asks doubtfully.

"On the beach," Bridge clarifies.

"Aaaaah, much better." Xander nods. "And conveniently-situated for invalidating certain I Nevers."

"Exactly!" Bridge chirps. "So is that a yes?"

"Yes, that's a yes." Xander nods. And then steals most of the covers.

"You should probably come over here before you freeze," Xander suggests.

Yes, 'over here' is about three inches away. Your point?

"Yeah, I kinda like having you visit me over here. Be a shame if you have to go back home to the other side of the bed. Sure you don't want to file a change of address form and just move here?"
